Re-Sculpture Kids
AGES: 10-14 | Instructor: Cassady Edwards
Participants explore how found objects, recycled materials, and second-hand ready-made elements can be revitalized through sculpture and given a new life. Emphasis on arts accessibility through exploration of free and low-cost materials, as well as sustainability through repurposing items that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
Participants get an OCAC t-shirt.
When: Saturday, 10 – 11:30 am
Dates: June 18 to July 23 (6 weeks)

Youth Public Art Project
AGES: 11-15 | Instructor: Cassady Edwards
Participants learn about public art and work together to propose a public artwork that solves a problem, serves a community, or brings attention to an issue that is important to them. Participants have the opportunity to gain problem-solving skills and experience the process of advocacy through a public artwork that will be installed in the Oxford community. This course includes walking trips!
No class July 6.

Dates: June 8 to August 3 (8 weeks)
