Grab some friends and sign up for this fun Oxford original painting! This is an Oxford version of the famous masterpiece Starry Night painting by Dutch post-impressionist Vincent van Gogh. The original painting was done in June 1889, so we are going to paint Oxfords Starry Night in June also! The painting was based on van Gogh's observations from his window looking down at the village, as well as his imagination, memories, and emotions. You will fill your own canvas with your imagination and emotions also, but you will be including Oxfords skyline! If you just want to paint your own version, that's ok too! And on top of everything else, you will learn tidbits about Vincent van Gogh that you never knew! Beyond cutting off his ear!
*Please note this is a 2-day class- attendance both days are necessary to finish this painting. The painting is VERY easy to do, it just takes time to put all those brush strokes on!

Please read below on what you need to know and suggestions for taking this class.

I don't know anything with certainty but seeing the stars make me dream. - Vincent van Gogh
