HOXIE – Three Generations of Photography

This exhibit represents three generations of Hoxies as photographers and artists. George Richmond Hoxie (1907-1984) opened his studio in the late 40s to become a well known Oxford and Miami portrait photographer and artist, submitting his artwork worldwide and gaining significant recognition. The selection of original photographs covers his many years, styles and themes…all in black and white.

Miami University Art Museum Docents – Textiles & Fiber Arts

Miami University Art Museum Docents (Volunteer guides/teachers) are folks who love art; meet regularly to learn more and share our knowledge and passion with others of all ages.

We, ourselves also create and collect art.  Come and enjoy eclectic examples of textile/fiber art from our personal collections....and perhaps talk with us about joining our group. The exhibition runs from March 9th through April 6, 2018

Chrome’s debut performance! This talented group of musicians consists of music educators who also perform together professionally. Membership includes Mike Marston on steel pans, Madeline Marston also on steel pans, TJ Pearson on keyboard, and Alex McIntosh on drum set.

Their performance will include styles from the Caribbean, Jazz, and Rock. They may even play a Disney tune or two! Sit down and relax or get on your feet and dance. Do what you like and we will all have a good time.
