As a religious scholar, and five precepts Upāsikā, Landon seeks use her work to as a method to engage the viewer in contemplation. Each photo is accompanied by a brief meditation, calling for a pause of reflection.
She believes the job of a photographer isn’t always to unveil something new and different; often it is simply to reveal what’s always been present – to remind us what we’ve forgotten to see.
