The Annual Campaign runs from July 1 to June 30. Donations from individual community members like you make up approximately 24% of our annual operating budget.

When arts and culture are woven into the fabric of a community, they help cities attract tourists and diverse talent, bring about innovation, and grow the economy. From citizens, individual artists, and cultural organizations to businesses and government leadership—everybody in the community benefits from the arts.
The impact of the Oxford Community Arts Center cannot be overstated. It stands as a cultural asset for the historical beauty of our building and for the extensive array of arts programming under our roof.

The OCAC works with various enduring partners and community organizations to create, develop, and host performances, programming, educational offerings, and community engagement events that appeal to a multi-generational population.
Since our incorporation in 2001, the OCAC has become a dynamic focus for arts in our community. The scope of community programs has grown dramatically. In typical years, over 12,000 visitors enjoy and participate in diverse arts programming.
Every week, our building and grounds bustle with low-to-no-cost programs for people of all ages and abilities who may have challenges accessing art opportunities in nearby cities. From beginners to experienced practitioners, community members are encouraged to explore various art forms, including visual arts, dance, theatre, music, creative writing, wellness, and more.
Arts create connections and enhance 21st Century skills
As an added benefit, critical thinking, creativity, and communication—all skills enhanced through the arts—have been identified as essential skills that people need for continued health and wellness in the digital age.
