Family-friendly performances, designed primarily for Pre-K to 8th grade, make participants laugh, shout, and have lots of fun. Magic Carpet Family Shows occur in the Brant Ballroom, located on the first floor of the Oxford Community Arts Center. Free parking is available on-site. ♦ Stuart Little
presented by Lexington Children's Theatre

As Stuart navigates a world much bigger than himself – from sailing toy boats in Central Park to searching for his beloved bird friend Margalo –he teaches us all that size doesn’t measure spirit. Packed with humor, heart and a dash of daring, Stuart Little is a delightful tale for audiences of all ages. The acting ensemble plays many human and animal roles in a series of delightful scenes that make up the marvelous maneuverings of a mild-mannered mouse trying to survive in a “real people’s world.”

♦ A Madcap Christmas Carol

NEW version! Though it's cold outside, things are getting pretty heated at the Scrooge house. When Marney and Mateo Scrooge seem convinced that Chirstmas is all about toys, it's up to Uncle Scrooge to help the kids remember the true spirit of Christmas. Think you've heard every version of A Christmas Carol? Think again! Uncle Scrooge retells the story of the night he was visited by three Christmas spirits in a brand new, family-friendly puppt-filled twist on a class tale.

♦ Aesop's Fables

Young Aesop doesn't get to go out and play ball with his friends because he is being forced to babysit his little sister, Xena. Little Xena loves to hear stories, so Aesop needs to get creative! Help Aesop teach his sister life lessons and morals as you witness the creation of three famous and fun fables: The Tortoise and The Hare, The Lion and The Mouse, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
Recommended Ages: 5-13
♦ The Princess Who Lost Her Hair
featuring Lexington Children's Theatre

After refusing a weaver bird’s request, Princess Kalendi loses her beautiful hair and brings drought upon her kingdom. A kind beggar named Muoma sets out to find the bird and, through acts of compassion, earns a magical seed to help the princess. As Princess Kalendi learns to nurture the plant, her hair and the kingdom’s vitality are restored, leading her to recognize the value of empathy and selflessness.
Recommended Ages: 6-11

Mister C Live Vol. 2 - The World in Motion invites attendees to continue singing, moving, and learning to the tune of science and focuses on the Laws of Motion!
