Call for Art

What Pride Looks Like

The Oxford Community Arts Center invites artists of all backgrounds - especially LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies - to submit work for an upcoming group exhibition celebrating Pride. This Call For Art is open and accessible to all artists in the tri-state area, and we welcome a wide range of perspectives and experiences.

We’re looking for contemporary 2D and 3D works that reflect, explore, and elevate the LGBTQ+ experience. Show us what Pride means to you, through identity, community, diversity, and celebration. Whether bold or subtle, joyful or reflective, your voice matters here.

We strongly encourage LGBTQ+ artists to submit work, and we’re committed to providing an inclusive platform for creative expression.

To apply, email your images and completed submission form to Bonnie Kretschmer at bonnie@oxarts.org.

Selected artists will be notified and provided a contract. All accepted works are insured while at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Artists are responsible for transportation and insurance during shipping.

Important Dates:

♦ Deadline for Artwork Delivery: May 25, 2025
♦ Exhibition Dates: June 13 – July 3, 2025
♦ Opening Reception: Friday, June 13 at 6:00 PM
