Chocolate Meltdown

FreeChocolate Meltdown is back for its eighth annual celebration, bringing together the community for a weekend of indulgence and fun. Join us on January 10-11, when you’ll discover unique offerings from Uptown businesses, engage in a delightful talk about all things chocolate, enjoy interactive chocolate-themed activities, explore a unique chocolate art exhibit, and savor delicious treats from chocolate vendors and bakers. This year, we will be featuring COFFEE as well as chocolate!

Friday, January 10: Chocolate Crawl!
Participating Uptown Businesses
New this year! Kick off the weekend with a sweet adventure through Uptown Oxford! Using a pre-printed passport, collect stickers from participating businesses offering chocolate-inspired treats and surprises. No purchase is required. The first fully completed passport turned in at OCAC on Saturday wins SIX FREE tasting tickets!
Saturday, January 11: Chocolate 101

Join chocolate expert Rob Rollins, formerly of M&M Mars, for a tasty exploration of chocolate’s history, production, and feel-good effects, complete with a guided tasting. This $5 event requires pre-booking by January 10. Spaces are limited - reserve now and pay at the door! Reservations required – email artmuseum@miamioh.edu.
Saturday, January 11: Chocolate Main Event
Oxford Community Arts Center
Get ready for the main event! Step into a chocolate lover’s paradise with 15 incredible chocolate vendors offering delectable treats. Adults can sip drinks from our 21+ bar while kids delight in free s’mores, whimsical face painting, hands-on art activities, and more. Plus, experience the magic of our “Sweet Dreams” art exhibition featuring captivating works that will inspire and amaze you.
