Friday, September 11: Botanical Stamps & Rubbing Workshop
FREE Activity, Registration Required

Kids celebrate the garden’s bounty using printing and rubbing techniques with teaching artist Mary Dudley of the Civic Garden Center in Cincinnati. Participants slice and ink selected vegetables to create colorful prints on paper, then experiment with leaf and seed pod rubbings to capture fine textures while discussing which parts of plants we eat, what gets saved as seed, and how harvesting connects to gratitude and sharing.

Culture Crops Art Activity: Young chefs will create their own "Garden to Bowl" soup pot by choosing pictures of fresh vegetables and gluing them into a soup pot to design a delicious farm-to-table soup. Along the way, we'll talk about which vegetables grow in a garden and how they can be turned into warm, healthy meals.

Ages: 6 - 13
Dates: Second Fridays from 6-8 PM
Location: Oxford Community Arts Center
Cost: FREE
Culture Crops is funded by a grant from the Greater Oxford Community Foundation
