Artists:
Kristin Kowalski - Kristin Kowalski is a ceramic sculptor and fine art instructor. As a ceramic artist, Kowalski draws inspiration from the natural environment and human interactions. Her artworks reflect her appreciation for nature and its beauty through ceramic techniques and processes. All of her works are created with ceramic hand-building and glazing techniques that are reflected in the color, surface texture, and form of her sculptures.
Richard Martin Hahn - Originally from Mount Kisco, New York, Richard Martin Hahn grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, where he attended Ursuline High School and Youngstown State University. While working towards his undergraduate degree in music, he played trumpet and arranged music for rhythm and blues bands. In the early 1980s, he began traveling extensively with his first professional camera, refining his photography skills by capturing publicity shots and portraits of the bands and musicians he encountered. As the founder of Keynote Media Group, a public relations and marketing firm, photography became a vital component of his business, allowing him to create compelling images for marketing campaigns on local, national, and international levels.
Also Showing in the South Parlor: Purchaseable art from OCAC's collection.
Musical Guests:
Lisa Biales Band - Performing comes naturally for this Ohio native who grew up in a musical family and has been singing from the moment she could remember. Dubbed the Belle of the Blues for her crystal clear voice and charming stage presence, Lisa Biales has released ten albums. A town local, Lisa is known for her vocals and bluesy, folk-rock sound. With a high-quality music video and over five albums, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy her music. Come see her as she once again joins our 2nd Friday lineup.
